Stretch marks are like cancer. There is no cure. Do not waste your money on all these expensive crazy stretch mark cures. Only make-up will work. As Hollywood knows all too well. I guess a tan will darken and camouflage them a bit.

I've had stretch marks since my first pregnancy. Yes, there are all kinds of creams and lotions, but they do not completely get rid of stretch marks. Small ones may disappear with creams, but larger, wide stretch marks will never completely fade. Whether someone gets stretch marks or not, depends on how elastic your skin may be. Most products for this kind of thing are very expensive and take a long time to work. If mederma worked for you, i would keep using it. Just keep in mind it could be a year or more until the marks are not very visible.

To add a little more from what you asked. Everyone's skin is different. My mother carried my sister and I, without a single stretch mark, but I ended up with stretch marks. So it's not even something hereditary. That girl you know just happened to have skin that is very pliable and stretched easily. I know it's not fair, I wish I didn't have any stretch marks either, but there isn't much you can do, aside from a tummy tuck. Over time, they will lighten up, and become more of a silver color and less noticeable.

Dear Visiable Marking,

All creams takes a long time to fade away the markings on our body.. Because of our tissues we all heal different some take time more than others, the darker they are the longer it takes.

If you are so worried about people looking at you and you think they are going to mock you wear a one piece.

Or we can say the heck with them flaunt what you got woman. Keep working on the cream that you use or scarlight (cvs drug store).

Love your body woman you are worth it!
