She Says She Wants To Be Independent

Question Posted Saturday March 21 2009, 12:37 pm

My girlfriend has been cheating on me. She says that she wants to live life and that she wants to be independent. I never knew things were going south between us. Can someone just change their mind like that?

If she's running away from an established relationship to be in another relationship she is most likely not independent at all. She is feeling the need to replace you with something else. There is another issue there, one that she isnt telling you.

Honestly though, do you really care? She cheated. Which means that you are out of the picture. So take this opportunity to exit with a plate full of awesome, wish her well, date someone hotter and work on being successful, it'll make you better for the next one.
