stomach problems

Question Posted Friday March 13 2009, 12:45 am

Errrr, this is kind of embarrasing.
So I thought I was gonna have diarrhea saturday, so I took this pill that controls it. Turns out, maybe I was wrong.
Well I haven't been able to go since then.
Like, not at all.
It's a horrible feeling.
I've been trying to drink lots of water and eat fruits and vegetables..but it's not helping.
I don't want to tell my mom and I sure as hell don't want to go to the doctor.
I found some milk of magnesia but it expired a few years ago.
What can I do?

Fiber makes you go to the bathroom. Foods with high fibers is what doctors tell people who are constipated to eat. Look at the list of high fiber foods I'm going to send you:

Then pick some foods off that list and eat lots of it.

Ya it could have been diarrhea but still have that effect. It probably will keep it all up there until it where’s off which can take a looooooooooooooooong time. But I think you should talk to your mom and its probubly a good idea to go to the doctor I know you don't want to and I know I cant tell you what to do but it could be worse than I say. And if you don't do any thing about it you could have stomach problems for the rest of your life if it’s that bad. Hope it works out

If you haven't been to the loo in a week then you do need some medical advice, i know it's embarrassing but the doctors have seen and heard much worse.
If you are too afraid to tell your mum or go to the doctors yet then either ring NHS DIRECT (if you live in the UK) or ring your local doctors surgery or hospital for some advice, or nip to your local pharmasist. I have a fear of doctors so if ever i need medical advice i always go to the chemist first.
Chances are you won't need to go to the hospital or doctors, just take some medication to help you go to the loo again.

Please get some medical advice though because you do yourself some damage.

DON'T TAKE MEDICATION WITHOUT ASKING MEDICAL ADVICE FIRST AND ALWAYS READ THE LABEL!

Take care xxx

* Google may have told you what could make you go to the loo but sometimes a doctor is necessary to make sure that you are not going to do your body anymore harm and to find out what is causing you to feel like this.
You said you already tried a tablet and other foods and drinks and they are not helping, there's no point me telling you websites for food that you've already found.
I was telling you go seek medical advice whether it be a doctor, a chemist or a phone call for the sake of your health and so you don't make things any worse.
