I'm trying to lose weight, so what are good healthy foods to substitute for junk foods and whatnot? Also, if I cut down by eating 1500 calories a day and running every other day, will I lose much weight?
KellieAnne answered Friday March 6 2009, 9:12 pm: I eat about 700-800 calories a day, not deliberately but just by what I eat- good foods to eat are obviously foods that are low in calories, low-fat/fat free, with natural sugars and high fibers, and things that are very nutritious. I eat a LOT of fruit, and I also eat healthy soups, egg whites, vegetables, and cereal. Try Campbell's Healthy Request soups, and the under-300 calorie Lean Cuisines, they're so good. Don't eat a lot of red meat, stick to chicken, turkey and fish. To substitute desserts, have sugarfree popsicles or fruit bars (anywhere between 15-40 cals), frozen yogurt, or sugar-free Jell-O puddings. If you exercise frequently and eat less calories, you'll lose weight for sure! [ KellieAnne's advice column | Ask KellieAnne A Question ]
