Should i trust him at all?
So the thing is ive been going out with this guy for about 4 months this saturday. He was my friend before we started going out so i knew he had a "past". He really isnt a bad guy i just may be paranoid. Yah, lets just say that i was paranoid to the point that i look in his phone and found txt messages from another girl. When i confronted him he just said that his friend played around with him like that...Two days later he said that he told the girl todo that because he new that i would look through his phone. Well hes a flirt and it just hurts to see him talking to other girls he does it even when im around, he may not notice it but he does flirt. Well ive tried to stick this relationship out i really love him. He walked me home in the dead of winter at midnight because my bestfrinds mom wouldnt let me sleep over her house,He was suppose to be home by that time. He does care but only shows it when everything is calm. What should i do?

I can understand your paranoia... You really like this guy, so you want all to go well with the relationship between you two. I must warn you though (you probably already know) jealousy and paranoia can drive a guy insane, as it would drive us insane. It all depends on the status of you guys' relationship. Depending on what the text message said, you most likely had a small percentage of a right to look into his phone.. If it said something inappropriate or weird like 'hey baby'.. then you found a reason TO look into his phone...either way, you didn't like what this friend wrote, and he should respect that because he is you boyfriend. What you should do is talk. Communication is the key. Spill out your feelings! 4 months is enough to start opening up... and if he's serious, he will consider your feelings and opinions on what makes you mad, jealous, etc. Set boundaries... it's one thing to be nice to a girl, but it's another to be so nice, people would mistake her as your girlfriend... you know? It's all about letting him know how you feel... Be careful, it may be paranoia, or it may be your womanly instinct.. Just try not to accuse him of anything unless you have solid proof.. and do the best you can in the relationship, if he cheats then he's missed out on a good thing, and you find yourself a man, not a little boy ;) good luck

Well, I wouldn't give up just yet. Just please don't go through his phone anymore! Since he knows you do that, he might text MORE girls just to make you jealous. When you're together next, talk to him about all this, in a calmly matter. You could try "I know you're a flirt, but should I be worried about other girls or is it really nothing/innocent?" Something along those lines. Let him know you're just a little worried and would like some reassurance, but don't come off bossy or controlling. If you ask calmly and nice, and he flips out and starts getting mad, that's a sign he's not so innocent and he's on the defensive. If he thinks you're crazy for thinking that way or simply says it's innocent, then try to move on and be happy. One day at a time. :)
