baking soda to clarify hair??

Question Posted Saturday February 28 2009, 2:56 pm

I recently read about using a bit of baking soda while shampooing, to remove excess product buildup from the scalp. I tried it, and it worked great. But then I read that it might be too harsh for the hair, although really, it seemed just fine for me.
Any thoughts?

I've heard about this also and it does work well, but you should only use once every week or so in order for it to not be too harsh.
