Alrighty, you are 14 you are new at it. Also, guys can be mean, it prob. wasn't even you. Some guys blame the girl or make the girl look dumb and inexperianced when really it isn't the truth at all and he really enjoyed it. Don't take it personally! Kissing is a wonderful thing that usually comes natural. But sometimes it doesn't. There are two ways to make out.
1-with tongue and open mouth. Never use a lot of tongue. It could be pretty gross if you start salivaing too much. Use a little tongue stick your tongue in an in and out motion slowly. Kind of roll your tongue around his. You could even suck his tongue a little bit (Light pressure)
2-no tongue and closed mouth. Kiss and suck his bottom and top lips slowly. Pretty simple
Personally, I prefer to use a combination of both. It makes things pretty fun.
While kissing run your hands through the person's hair or caress their cheek. Well I pull on and clutch my guy's shirt. Things should come natural to you eventually
