I have a 4 year old half chihuahua, half pomeranian doggie. He's in pretty good health but he scratches a lot. He gets dandruff. Is this natural because of his breed, or should I be concerned?

As far as I know this is not something that is normal. Thats not to say that it's a serious condition, but its not something that should be ignored.
You can call your vet for more detailed advice, and they might prescribe a specific treatment or product, but If I were you I would just go to the pet store and get some shampoo meant specifically for moisturizing the skin and reducing dandruff.
Good luck!
But if if the shampoo/cream doesn't work or it gets worse, call you're vet.
OH, I almost forgot, Is your dog on any kind of flea/tick preventative? If not then definitely get him on one asap, as fleas could very likely cause this skin issue, and fleas and ticks can spread some pretty serious diseases. [ jediforhire's advice column | Ask jediforhire A Question ]
