So I recently started working at Dunkin' Donuts. I've only worked 3 days so far, 5 hours each day. I have to work this Saturday for 6 hours, and I just called my manager and he said it's STILL training until Sunday, when I'm in the real schedule. Here's the thing: they don't pay training. So basically, I'm working 21 hours FREE. I told him I'm done with training, because I know everything, I'm just a little slower than the ones who've been there longer. He told me the "boss" is coming, and he's gonna quiz me or something. This crap is getting on my nerves. I feel like I'm being cheated, cause my friend got paid for her training when she started working at Sears, and I KNOW DD's has money and could afford to pay me. I try communicating with them, but they all have accents that are impossible to understand. They didn't even ask me how old I am [16], so they don't know I can only work 8 hours, not that they would understand anyway. This is my first job, but man, I'm annoyed..what do you guys think?
