ok, so a little over 2 years ago I broke my ribs playing soccer (catching a shot that someone took [im a keeper]). I never went to the doctors or anything, and just let them heal over time.
So now my problem is that that I am really sensetive around the area where my ribs were broken [like if the get hit or something]. Also when I run, enough so that Im starting to get out of breath my ribs really start to hurt again.
Is this normal? and Is there anything that I can do that will help make this pain go away?

Broken bones can heal wrong if not treated correctly and could be very painful during and after they heal. I really think you should go to see a doctor about that. Not trying to scare you or anything but if you didnt have those problems before your broke your ribs 9 times out of 10 something is wtong and you need to get it checked out asap! But until then i dont think you should do alot of activities that may make the pain come back just settle down until you can get it checked out. Oh yea advil works wonders if the pain comes back =]
