Shy and need a date for prom...how do i get one?
I'm 17 and very shy. I've never had a boyfriend and am not that close to any guys. My senior prom's coming up in a few months and I'd rather not go by myself but I'm not interested in anyone at my school. How do I meet more guys my own age that don't go to my school?

Well, can you skate?
Ride a bike??
I suggest hanging out a a skate park.
That's where a meet new mates, and occasionally
dates to dumb school shit.
So, yeah think about it.
Just go there, maybe with a mate... just hang out
if you can ride or stake.

Don't do the internet.
But, what I would do is just go to local hang out spots. (movies, mall, etc.) If you have outgoing friends ask them to help you meet people and talk to them.
