Weird taste in guys: I like guys who have never had other girls
Question Posted Tuesday February 3 2009, 4:10 pm
'Kay, so I got asked the other day on what kind of guys I like. And I thought of the question again afterwards, and came up with "I like guys who haven't been with other girls".
Is that normal? Like, I would see a nice guy, but if I know that he's had girlfriends before it's a complete turn off.
For example, the guy I'm kind of with right now, who's completely amazing and attractive only had an "internet girlfriend" before, and every time I think about it I get insanely jealous. It makes the time that we spend together unmeaningful and awkward. I really don't want to lose my chances with such, incredible guys like him so I want to try to overcome this "only guys who haven't dated" trait. Any ideas is welcome.
He is not with her he is with you, it was an "internet relationship". The energy you have put into this meaningless issue could have put into building a stronger relationship with him.

you're right. this is jealousy. and its completely normal. i dont like guys who have had really long relationships. one of my exes dated a girl for two years and it always made me mad. that was because my longest relationship was only two months. it made me think "why cant i keep a guy for that long? what does she have that i dont?" but im over it, now. because i found someone really special.
you have got to realize that some completely awesome guys out there have had girlfriends before. its really unlikely that a cute, funny, and nice guy wouldnt have had a girlfriend before, dont you think?? you never know. you're soulmate may have been the biggest player ever. but people CHANGE. and also, if they show any interest in you, feel special. not jealous about some past love that they are probably WAY OVER by now. :)
