stomachh issues

Question Posted Monday February 2 2009, 1:26 am

im 19 yrs old, ive never had any kids. BUt for the past 2-3 weeks my stomach has been swollen. At first i thought it was pms bloating. But my stomach is still swollen even after menstruation. When i wake up in the morining its not swollen, but as soon as i start eating it swells and stays that way for the rest of the day. It swells from a bit under my chest to a little under my belly button (kinda on a diagonal slant.. but i might just be pushing out my stomach when i look in the mirror, or arching my back a bit.. im paranoid) I dont know whats causing this and im a little scared. Please help!

Hi! I actually went through this a couple weeks ago. I think it was caused by a change in birth control pill for me though. Have you changed anything in your diet or have you recently started taking new meds? I think as long as your not in any pain or discomfort, you're probably ok. But I'm not a doctor, so if you are really concerned I'd definitely see one...especially if things get worse.

Lots of Love,
Lee
