perm? so my hair is naturally curly. but i've been straightening it 95% of the time for about the last 5 years. so it's gotten straighterish, and now just looks like a poof ball with some random uneven curls. i have to actually take my time with mousse and such now to make it look good curly. i'd love to have those loose, beachy waves all the time so i dont have to straighten it as much and such. if i were to get a loose perm, but it do that and look good? or would it look bad trying to curl over natural curls? has anyone done this before?

Perms are not just for people with straight hair. In fact if you have some curl in your hair it will generally respond very well to the perming process. This will give you that slightly stronger or more defined curl that you are after, and because your own hair is curly as it grows out, the variation is hard to see so you may only need to repeat this process very occasionally. ]
You can try to do that but you might end up with very curly hair instead of light ones that you want. What I would do is invest in some hot rollers. Get the bigger sized ones for very loose curls. They are very easy to use and so much easier than straightening. When I use them, I shower before bed, roll my dry hair right when i wake up, and then get ready. By the time I'm ready, its time to take the rollers out. Very simple and pretty hair :) ]
