dell printer

Question Posted Sunday February 1 2009, 9:45 pm

i have a dell all in one photo 926 printer. it does fax, copys, scans, and prints. recently, it has not been scanning or copying. it still prints fine though. i have never tried the fax because i have no need for that, but i really need to scanner and copier. what could be wrong to make the scanner and copier not work and how can i fix it? ive tried unplugging all the cords and using compressed air to blow any dust out, but that did nothing. any ideas will help! thanks=]

You may have a software issue. Basically, I believe you have to clear out the software and re-install it. Dell has a website that you can use to troubleshoot, but, ofcourse, these things are never easy unless you're a techie!

Give them a try, if it doesn't work, then bring it in for maintenance.
