I heard from a few different sources that milk can cause acne/breakouts. I used to drink warm milk before bed and noticed I would wake up with a few pimples, so I stopped and the problem seemed to stop. Does anyone know if it was the milk, and if this milk myth is really true?
TwentySomething answered Friday January 30 2009, 10:12 am: Technically yes, simply because humans were never really meant to drink cow milk... basically because we're not cows. And while milk has some benefits such as vitamins that increase energy... unfortunately they are chalk full of hormones and chemicals that keep the milk fresh for an extended period of time. So I would test out laying off the milk for a while, try drinking herbal tea instead before bed... many flavors and makes you sleep better also
