okay so i have this bff that well call katie we were really close and stuff but during the summer she met a guy that she started liking and according to her he liked her to the only problem was that her already had a girlfirend so he ended up dumping hes gf for her. well one day they went out and she was too nervous to go out with him so she asked our friend carlos to go with her. im her bff and she didnt even ask me to come along and she never introduced me to the guy she liked instead she took carlos who shes always complaining about saying hes dumb a pussy and everything else am i blowing this out of porportion or should i be consern about this why did she do it and what should i do

Hello, If you guys are close like you say you are there is nothing to worry about. I am sure the only reason she took Carlos instead of you was because she wanted a guy to be there to ease the nervousness, I know you are her bff b ut people need others for different situations, no matte how much she hates him she obviously saw something in him that made her think he was the best choice for this situiation. I don't think you should be so worried, yet. Have you ever considered that maybe the reason she took a boy instead of you is that he would be more protection in case it ever came to that? Maybe she's embarrassed of whoever she's dating, and since your opinion is really valuable to her, she wasn't ready for you both to meet just yet. It could be a million things, but you'll never know unless you go and ask HER. The problem with girls is, we immediately feel left out when our best friends get boyfriends, specially if we ourselves are single. Maybe this is the case, maybe not. Either way, you should talk to her.
