These are one of the questions that I and most people have a theory for. Your heart can be blind, your mind can be based of other people's ideas, and your gut, well is risky. So honestly there's no answer for this question. Personally, I analyze my situation and pick one. But when it comes to other people seeking advice, I relate and see what i did and how my situation got sorted out that way it won't come out bad for them (if it came out bad for me). In your question you say "my hearts telling me to stay but my minds telling me to go".. which sounds like it deals with another person or people... So just analyze your situation. Let's pretend you're in a abusive relationship and you KNOW it... but you dont know what to do. your heart says yes because it's being hurt, but your mind says no because it's telling you the consequences. In this case, follow your heart. you KNOW it's unhealthy and if you seek help from family friends and authorities, you'll be at peace. Good luck

You can't live your life following your heart. Or following your head. You have to consider both. Try making a pro and con list. Or just stay for a little bit longer and if things don't get better then leave. I'm not really sure that this has to do with, but i don't want you to regret this dissiction.

Going with what you know to be right
is the best way. The heart can get you
in trouble now and then.

Its much harder to go with the the mind.
But, in the long run its usually a lot
less painful. There are exceptions, such
as career choices, but as far as
relationships with others and almost
anything else....go with the logical
choice of the mind.

feelings can often be misleading, but you're mind thinks what it does for a reason. listen to your mind.
