what to wear for college interview.

Question Posted Friday January 16 2009, 11:52 am

15/f

So I have a college interview next month, and I have no clue what to wear.

I guess that I shouldn't look really messy or dress inappropriately. But I also don't want to look boring as I will see other potential students and want to make a good impression.

So,

- What clothes should I wear for my college interview?
- How should I do my hair and make-up?
- What about jewellery?

Thanks,

Well obviously you shouldnt go overboard on any of the areas. I would wear something like a emmpire waist shirt with a pair of khakis, or a very casual womens suit with a bright cami underneath. a simple necklace and matching earrings would be cute, nothing too big. Keep your hair the way you usually wear it, and keep the make-up to just covering up problem areas. You shouldnt change yourself for the interveiw, but of course going overboard is bad. try to dress casually but not like a slob and not in all black. i would recomend removing peircings on eyebrows, tounges, and lips also. avoid putting on a show though by wearing either a really fancy outfit or a save the planet shirt. dont try to hard. they really dont focus on clothing so i wouldnt stress over it, and use my time to practice my posture and speaking.

k well for the clothes you dont wanna wear anything too colorful because it is an interview and it is suppose to be conservitive i tried to get you some pieces that arent too boring i hope you like them for the top i think you should have something like this

for this you can even have a short sleeve or long sleeve white t-shirt and it will look good

or you could have a nice top underneath and put this coat ontop

for the bottoms you should wear either a skirt or pants so here are some ideas

for makeup do something really light just mascara and eyeliner and some lip gloss and coverup and you could do a little bit of blush you dont want to have any eyeshadow unless its a very light color and doesnt stand out too much

for jewellery some earings and necklace would be fine but make sure their not too big and a little conservitive and appropriate a nice braclet or watch would look great too but choose only one of 2.

basically dont wear anything flashy just something that looks kind of appropriate.
