Question Posted Wednesday January 14 2009, 10:05 pm

Okay, my bff is trying to hook me up with her cousin who supposedly (fell in love with me at first sight at a football game.) I told her i wasn't interested but she is very persistent. she even gave him my phone# (but i don't really know the guy and we even don't go to the same school.) Anyways, he's been texting me every single day for the past week, but then he just stopped (and i was actually opening up and was going to give it a chance.) What does it mean when he stopped texting me? So can someone tell me what this means and what i should probably do from here? please!

Maybe he thought the texting was going nowhere, or felt you were getting annoyed with his persistance. maybe your friend told him to lay off. maybe he found someone new even. try starting the conversation to show you are interested in him, or at least not scared of him. if he responds, then you know you just needed to show you werent getting agrivated.

There could be plenty of reasons why the cousin of your BFF suddenly stopped sending you SMS. It could be he had a lot of school work to catch up with, some problems at home, or maybe he finally sensed that you're not that much into him and decided to move on.

The thing is we're not sure. But you have to make up your mind whether to give this guy a chance or not. It's not right to keep him hanging and give him false hope. It's not fair. Now, once you have decided to really open up and give it a chance as what you have mentioned, I say go and call him to say hi. See what he's been up to. However, if you feel deep down that this guy doesn't have that much of an impact to you, better to let things as it is. Let time to unfold in its due course.
