so i listen a lot of classic like alice in chains Guns n' roses and pantera and i also listen to the new music like avenged sevenfold,audioslave,bullet for my valentine, atryeu, bush and frankly i'm getting tired of of the music on my ipod any new ideas of music i would like?

you could try www.pandora.com, it is a website where you type in the name of a song or artist you like and it gives you similar arists. you can listen to full songs for free to see if you like them... but if you like one write it down or something because you can't replay it.
