College?

Question Posted Friday January 9 2009, 9:45 pm

I'm not sure if I want to go into engineering or singing; I'm interested in choral singing and chemical engineering. I get As and have been in my All State chorus. I think I'd like to go to Cornell, but I'm not so sure about the quality of their choral program. On the other hand, Rider is a is also a top choice for me because of Westminister, but I'm not sure about their engineering program. Is there any school that has a good choral and engineering program?

Since your mind isn't completely made up, I would go to a large school with a lot of options. Look into finding a school with a solid engineering program, where you could MINOR in music. That way, you can work on gaining a practical degree where there are more job availabilities and still hone your singing abilities.

These two websites are extremely helpful in searching for colleges that fit what you want.
