that is what i see right now, weird white bumps near the right corner of my lip. and it kind hurts. it is not red when my lips are in their normal position. i want to know if this is anything serious.
if you know what this is, or what i should do, please help!
If it is a coldsore, please be warned that it is HSV-1 or HSV-2. This means herpes. 80% of the U.S. population has, at least, one of the strains of herpes. A lot of people get herpes when they're little from their parents (simple, meaningless kisses) or from other teens when they begin kissing and fooling around sexually. People have been known to go 10 years without an outbreak--which would mean you could have it and never know it!
If the sores break open, grow, itch, burn, tingle, or anything of the sort then I'm fairly certain it is herpes. If it is then please refrain from oral sex and oral contact with your sexual partner(s).
For more information about herpes, please read my informative answer, here (please read through my links too):
I hope you see a doctor and figure out what is going on with your lip because it is NOT normal. If you suspect you have herpes and you do not inform a partner and end up passing it along you CAN be sued (and they WILL win). Seriously, for your health and the health of others--see a doctor about this.
