8GB iPod Touch - memory?

For Christmas i got an 8GB ipod touch. i think that hold around 2000 songs, or so? correct me if im wrong. But I was wondering if there was any way to like add more memory, so i could hold more songs. Is there? thanks!

I'm pretty sure there isn't a way.

8GB's is a lot of space anyway - and for a present that's pretty sweet.
Most people who want a big ass 80GB ipod always just end up using 4.5GB's of it. Unless you're adding a bunch of movies/tv seasons on it.

The average song is 4MB in size. There are 1000MB in 1GB. 8000/4=2000. You are correct.

You can't add additional memory to an iPod.
