palm treo

I tried to get a blackberry today but the verizon store said I would have to pay an extra $30 a month for internet for internet or something. Is the palm treo the same way?

I used to have a palm treo. I'm not sure if my answer is right or not, but first of all the palm treo is mainly for internet, so it would be kind of pointless to get one without using internet.
I think there is a way, though, to disconnect the internet so you don't have to use it. When you click something on the phone that has internet, it will give you an option to either enter the internet page thing or not. You can easily click no.
I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay extra for the internet on the palm treo, though.
