My boyfriend (20), and I (18) have been dating for almost two years. Over the few months, I've noticed that he doesn't say "I love you" anymore. He used to say it just randomly sometimes and always say it back when I said it to him. So it's just really weird that now when I say it to him, he'll just either ignore it, change the subject, or just crack a joke. So I'm just like, wtf. What do y'all think is going on?
I don't know that he just fell out of love, but that's always a possibility.
Or he could be questioning himself. Maybe he really likes you and is afraid of being so close with someone, so he's trying to put some space in your relationship... Has he ever been hurt in a serious relationship before?

Personally, I think you should talk to him and make some observations: does he act differently? Does he spend less time with you? Does he not answer/call you back? If the answer is no, then it's just a normal problem.
But seriously, if you're really concerned, then talk to him. If it's that important to you, then you should bring it to his attention. And one more note, if he tries to to divert the subject, then try and find out why. Be understanding and patient, that's the key to get past this small hiccup.
