okay so im 17 years old and im 5'3 in height. i weigh 111 pounds and everyone says this is a good weight a healthy weight but i still feel fat?! i mean i know im not fat, and honestly i think my body looks pretty good i just have a lot of fat on my stomach! but not really anywhere else? why do i have so much fat on my stomach?! i used to have a really flat stomach but then i gained 3 pounds since it got cold outside and it seems like it all went to my stomach!! how do i get rid of this ugly fat stomach?! is there any excersizes i can do or food that can make stomach fat go away?
Obviously your not fat, your BMI is perfect. It's just that you want to get toned, right? Ahh, good luck. It's going to take a little while for your body to tighten up, but it will happen if you excercise regularly. Also, make sure to get a lot of water, fruits, and veggies. Those will all help, too! MADISAN answered Sunday December 21 2008, 10:57 am: You are exactly perfect in weight, your BMI is exactly where it's supposed to be. I'm not going to preach to you that body-love bullshit, because you're 17, and you know you're not fat, just that you have "flab" on your stomache. (I hate that word)
The basics should make stomache fat go away, but stomache fat is super stubborn, try crunches, lunges, anything with a lot of cardio should help.
You should also start taking vitamins, and eating a balanced diet with a lot of veggies and fruits. Also, drink tons of water. Tons. [ MADISAN's advice column | Ask MADISAN A Question ]
