Question Posted Thursday December 18 2008, 11:52 am
Where do sponsored links come from? My sponsored link says..Grants for Women"..But my husbands sponsored link says either, "Girls That Want Older Men" or " Married Men having an Affair".
Does his say that because he went to a site looking for young girls or to have an affair?
irMERIx answered Saturday December 20 2008, 4:03 pm: no. it does not mean he is doing that.
myspace looks at people's information that is provided on their profile. since he is a male and is probably under "married" in his information, the sponsored link will show things that they suspect someone with the same information like "male" and "married" would use.
such as,
on my myspace, my sponsored link is "the average 14 year old girl's IQ is 103. take the quiz."
dont worry.
myspace stuff doesnt mean anything.(:
hope i helped. [ irMERIx's advice column | Ask irMERIx A Question ]
