Hey! I'm about fifteen and a half, but I'll be sixteen on June 24, just a few days after summer vacation begins.
So, I'm hoping to get a summer job and to maybe start learning how to support myself a bit more. Like, I've ALWAYS been the baby of the family. My mom actually DOES still tuck me in at night with my baby blanket. NO joke :/
But I'm watching the Hills for the first time, online, and thining WOW! I'm almost sixteen. I don't want to end up like my brother, stuck at home at 21.
Sorry, I digress.
But bottom line-- where can I work at age 16? NO fast food places please. I live in Virginia, if it helps.
Im still 15 but all my ffriends are 16. You can prettymuchn work anywhere at 16, and youll probly have your license by then too. so you can drive yourself!
I live in texas so i cant really help you with specific places( every state is diffrent) but we have a childrens muesieum in our mall and tons of my friends work at that becuase when they get off shift they can hangout at the malll. You could also work at this place called sweet and sassy ( or something like that) its probly called something diffrent where you love, its really popular to work where i live. You can be 15 when you work there. You paint little kids nails and do up there hair and little fun things like that.( its for birthday patires)

Stores like that usually hire young people. Perhaps the library, theme park (if any), music store. You should try places where young people hang out.
