picking between two computers

Question Posted Sunday December 14 2008, 7:01 pm

hey theymos. i was just wondering if you could compare two computers for me.theres a couple things i was wondering about them.so i'll just list the things i wanted you to compare by the computers and you can compare them? and then just compare the two computers if you know what i mean?
and theres a 3rd one i found but just compare that with the other two.so pretty much i just want you to compare the things on the 1st two. compare the 1st two all together and then pick the best one out of the 3. (price doesnt matter)

1.- this one has 667MHz bus speed. tv tuner and s-video (main things on this one)

2.-this one has 800MHz bus speed. no tv tuner or s-video.

between them im sure the 800 mhz is better than the 667 but is it that much to trade off the tv tuner and s-video for the 800?

Additional info, added Sunday December 14 2008, 7:06 pm:
since the 2nd one doesnt have s-video is there another way to hook the computer up to the tv?
s-video is mainly just to project whats on the computer onto the tv screen right?
.

theymos answered Sunday December 14 2008, 7:44 pm:
#1 is better. It contains a:
-Better CPU (check online benchmarks when the clock speed is similar)
-TV tuner
-Bigger screen
-Graphics chip

Bus speed is not important.

#2 has nothing that #1 does not, but they are similar.

If you wanted to hook #2 up to a TV, you could buy a TV tuner card. #1 comes with a TV tuner card, but you can buy them separately.

#3 is a bit worse than #1:
-Worse CPU
-Smaller L2 cache
-Smaller screen
