I'm gauging my ears and I put the 6 gauge pinchers/tapers in and it was slightly uncomfortable, but it always is. It's been two days and I just looked at them to clean them and it looked like puss was coming out. Should I take them out and let my ears heal up then start over with the WHOLE process, or just downsize to an 8 until the infection looks gone?
MODERNDURATION answered Tuesday December 9 2008, 4:20 pm: i use to gauge my ears they use constantly bleed and pus when going up a size. what i suggest you do is clean them really well and stick with the 6's. during gauging your ears you are going to have some puss, sure its disgusting but thats what goes along with it, your stretching the hole in your ear. i just suggest you keep them clean and if there is still puss coming out after the next 3 days along with serve discomfort just take them out for a day or so and give your ears a rest cleaning your ears often, then try it again. that shouldnt back track you too much if anything you may go down a size. also you should clean them everyday both your gauges and ears, just remember that so you dont have to worry about infection.
