Try to drink more milk and eat bananas. Hope that helps.. They feel so weird I know if they really bother you you could take a muscle relaxer

I know exactly what you're talking about. That happens to me as well, although usually in my arm or leg. It seems to happen when I'm lying down or at rest. All it is, is a simple muscle twitch, like the person below me said. Usually, all I have to do to stop it is move around a bit, and it goes away. But yeah, it's nothing to worry about, it happens to everyone. :)

You have a yourself a little muscle twitch. It's an involuntary muscle contraction you can see under the skin. The technical term is fasciculation. This usually occurs after some type of muscle stress. It might happen when you're just at rest. Sometimes, not enough magnesium in the diet causes twitches. Most likely, it's nothing and it will go away on it's own. Stay hydrated with water or gatoraid. Stretch your lower body. Lie down and bring your knees to your chest and count at least to 20. Do this a few times and it will help. If it doesn't go away in what you think is a timely manner, see your doctor.

Good luck!
