ok well i had sex last tues and we were safe we used a condom with spermicidal lube and i am suppose to get my period around the 8th of Dec.
well i am so worried that i am making myself sick.
i have the normal symptoms that i get when i am about the start my period. Should i be worried?
stargalaxy answered Thursday December 4 2008, 1:58 am: you shouldnt be worried at all... you used protection. The chances are slim of you being pregnant. And dont stress yourself out because that will make your period late. And if your late its probably because your stressing out. youll be fine sweetie. The symptoms you have are your fears projecting themselves onto your body fooling you into believing something that may not be so. There's zero reason to panic unless your period doesn't show up after the 12th.
All it takes to end this is to get a pregnancy test and see. In the mean time calm down as you aren't in a crisis nor confirmed as pregnant. Don't worry or think ahead like that when you don't have to yet. it's fear and not pregnancy symptoms you are experiencing and I'm pretty sure I'm correct on that one.
Deal with right now and the future as it comes. Worse comes to worse if you did become pregnant there's got to be family members, parents etc. etc. that would help you. There's an answer to the fears, problems etc. Right now relax and don't create a problem in your mind. Deal with the present. You'll make yourself real sick if you don't.
