Question Posted Sunday November 30 2008, 2:45 pm

so when i grow up i want to have a career in event planning. and if all fails then interior design. but in the best situation wedding planning. when people ask me what i want to do, and they ask me how i am going to achieve it im not sure. i dont know what i should do and what to major in in college. i dont know a whole lot about the topic and i want to learn. i would love something that mixes interior design and event planning but i know not everything is possible. is there anything that anyone recommends or any web sites. also is there any careers that are successful. so like any websites or college majors that you recommend. i want to be successful, and start my own business and so forth. so yea please help.

A hospitality major would be perfect for you.
Johnson and Wales University immediately comes to mind.

If you aren't in high school yet, going to a technical school and choosing culinary arts is a great start to what you want. Good luck!
