Ipod and video conversion Just bought an ipod and im not really sure how to add videos off my computer onto my ipod.
I tried adding a wmv file, a 3gp file and an avi file and none will work. Should I be converting them? How do I do it and what do I convert them to?
It wont do it automatically.
Thankyou.

okey !
complete four things below,u'll enjoy ur video on IPod as you like...
1.Insure ur video formats are .MP4.if not,convert them to MP4 format;
recommend:<a>[Link](Mouse over link to see full location);
2.Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.
3. plug in your iPod to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod as a device.
4. Select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply" ]
Install and run this:

Click "add video", and select your video. The video must be a video file, not a DVD. Search "dvd ripper" for software that will get a valid file off of a DVD, and ask me another question if you have trouble.
In the upper right of Any Video Converter, choose "Customized MP4 Movie". In the lower right, change Video Size to 640x480. Also, make sure that none of the values are higher than these:
Video Bitrate: 1500
Video Framerate: 30
Audio Bitrate: 160
Sample Rate: 48000
Click "Encode". Once it's finished, go to File -> open output folder. Move the output file to your iPod in the same way you move music.
Tell me if this doesn't work. I don't have an iPod to test it on. ]
