Question Posted Tuesday November 25 2008, 10:26 pm

I have very dark brown hair, almost black, and I was looking to lighten it with Natural Instincts. Do you think that would work? What shade would you recommend?

if you have really really dark hair and you want to go alot lighter, than i would not recommend doing it yourself... its just so easy to mess up. Get it done professionally. If you want to just go a little bit lighter than maybe you could do it yourself.

I Have Very dark almost black hair too. in fact i was think of getting it highlighted. My aunt is a hair stylist and with me she recommended Carmel, like not light light but just warm and dark a bit.
You could try that.
