loveydovey224 answered Wednesday November 26 2008, 6:07 pm: perms make your hair curly, but there are also ways to chemically straighten your hair. They are called Japanese straightening, which is mainly for people with really really thick hair, and is more damaging, and theres also Brazilian which is for less thick hair and less damaging. Also unlike japanese, brazilian fades out. With japanese, once your hair starts growing out, the new hair will grow in curly but the ends will stay straight, which would look kinda weird if you didn't get it re-done.
hope that answered your question, sorry for the run-on sentences. haha [ loveydovey224's advice column | Ask loveydovey224 A Question ]
