My computer one day stopped working correctly so I sent it off to get fixed. They worked on it and deleted a bunch of files. They kept all of my iTunes purchased music though. When I got it back I plugged in my iPod and the it said something like, "Cannot recieve files from iTunes. You're mobile device is not recognized." That wasn't the exact wording, but something along those lines. So I took my iPod that had all of my purchased music still on it to my cousin's house. I plugged my iPod into my cousin's computer and transfered all of the purchases on my iPod to her computer. Then I downloaded them all back onto my iPod. For about a month or so I have been using her computer to put new songs on my iPod. I have been using iTunes and purchasing them. Then my iPod started having audio problems so I sent it off to Apple to get it fixed. When it came back there were no songs on it. I plugged it into MY computer and it was working again. I downloading 10 songs onto it from my computer. I then took it to my cousin's house and downloaded the other 526 songs back onto it. I then took my iPod back home, plugged it into my computer and transfered the purchases. The problem is is that it only allowed 126 or so songs to be transfered back onto my computer. For some reason all of the 526 songs (except the ones I just now transfered over) were erased! I plugged my iPod back in not long after I transfered those 126 songs and it won't allow me to put songs on my iPod from MY computer.
My question: How do I get all of those other 400 some songs off of my cousin's computer back to my computer? And when I do get all of those songs back on my computer will I be able to use my iPod with my computer and successfully download music onto it?

Katlyn answered Tuesday November 25 2008, 11:12 pm: you need to get a chip to save all your music so this is what you should do get a memory stick and hook it up to your cousins computer then you put all your music files on it and take the memory stick back to your house stick it in your computer and then your music will be downloaded onto your computer then you want to make sure your computer is working properly and thn you should be able to use your ipod with your computer and download all the music you want but along the way delete unwanted files so your computer has enough space for your music. good luck:) [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
