My nails are just so brittle and soft...I just cant seem to maintain long nails... How do i make my nails long and stronger... I just chipped of a nail right now and so i had to trim all of them!! Its a really stupid question but I am obsessed. Should I get a french manicure even though my nails are really short right now?

Try drinking lots of milk or stuff that can provide your body with a lot of calcium. You could get fake nails on but that can make your nails more brittle if you don't have calcium in your body. The person before me took a lot of my ideas but i thought i would write in about the calcium thing because it is true, and it does really make your nails stronger.

If one of your nails is going to break, then file/clip it before it breaks because you are able to save more of it that way.
If yur nail chips, than you can buff the top of it to make it blend in with the rest of your nail so you dont have to make it shorter.
You can also try nail patches, which can be bought at drug stores... i personally don't like them but you might.
To make your nails stronger, you can by a nail strengthening polish or something at a drug store. I like sally hansen hard as wraps. To make them less brittle, make sure to moisturize your hands and cuticles, and even rub lotion into your nails.
