break the hymen?

in 8th grade i had a four hour long surgery. now im 18 and i am still a virgin. they put a catheter in me and im not really sure exactly where they put it, or what type it was but could it possible have broke my hymen or cherry? thanks!

No they wouldn't have broken your hymen.
A catheter goes in through the urethra.
The hymen covers the vaginal opening.
Here is a photo that will show you the
location of both. Beware it is not a drawing.
