Question Posted Saturday November 8 2008, 11:43 pm

that shows past missing children records from the 1990s-2000s (preferably just old records, so they'll show up even if the child has been found) for the state of indiana? thanks

Peeps answered Tuesday November 11 2008, 12:03 am:
I have found a link or two regarding old missing children reports. I am not finding one specifically for Indiana, but the report always includes where the child went missing.

Here is link to missing children from 1999 and older:

Here is a link to missing children from 2000 to the present 2008:

It may also be beneficial to send something to missingkids, the national center for missing and exploited children, as they, most likely, have back-dated information as well:

Their front page includes a form to search for any missing child on file. All you need is the child's gender (male or female), state, and within how many years it has been since they have gone missing. It may be tedious if many children come up, but I am search that you could do a page-search for the specific name if it was listed.

You can contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children by writing to:

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
Charles B. Wang International Children's Building
699 Prince Street
Alexandria, Virginia 22314-3175
The United States of America

or by sending an message through their online form for inquiries, here:

There is a 24 hour hotline regarding missing children that you might like to call as well:

1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678)

Here is also a website that has a missing children's directory, that may be beneficial; however, I am unsure if it goes that far back (it's called the Vanished Children's Alliance):

Here is the directory:

That's really all I'm finding online at the moment. I hope it's enough to help you out. Remember that about 800,000 children go missing (family abductions, nonfamily abductions, and kidnappings) every year in the United States.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me! :)
