i think my father put a parental control thing on my account.. is there any way to get around it?

Yes.
If it is for the internet you can find proxies

go to this site when you're at school: www.peacefire.org
and sign up for their email service on proxies
whatever censoring software he's using will block proxies after a few days this will send you a link to a new one every once in a while

the only irritating thing is the pop ups >.<
just close those every so often.
