is something wrong with me
okay so im 17 my boyfriend is 21 weve been together for going on 9 months now but the whole time during our relationship ive meet his parents once is there something wrong with that???i dont think it would bother me as much if i didnt know how him and his ex were like they broke up when he went off to college 2!! years ago...and he has had other relationships since then and before me but i found myself the other day on his moms myspace and seen comment form his ex then i got on his and ive never took the time to read his stuff because its the past it shouldnt bother me but there was so many over n over n over again and its like im tryin to compete with her and ive never even meet her n theyve had nothing to do with each other in over 2 years ..why is this upsetting me and i feel as im not as good as her to him???

I don't think there's anything wrong with meeting the parents once at all. You are trying to compete with her, because you feel that he doesn't like you as much as he did her. He is with you now. Don't worry about his ex because she is history. I think that you should just ask questions more about his family. that way you can know them, then maybe you can see if you can go to one of their family gatherings or something. There you can interact with the mom to the fullest. I hiope this helps...goodluck!

because you are comparing your self to her and you think your not good enough. dont feel that way. just let him know that you you feel you should get to know his family a little more.
