is pediatric a major in college to become a pediatrician or is it just another name for pediatrician???

Hi,
no, pediatric is not a major in college. You have to major in pre-med where you take courses preparing you to take the test to get into a medical school of your choice. Once there, you study to be a doctor specializing in pediatric medicine; specializing in treating children.

so yes i would guess pediatrics is a major in college.
