Common Application

Question Posted Sunday October 19 2008, 1:41 pm

I have an account for the common app website, but where do I go so they can send it directly to my house? I know it's possible, cause I saw someone at school with it, I just don't know where to get it. Anyone know?

Hello there,

The Common Application website isn't laid out as well as it could be, for example: to order paper application forms for college admissions you have to click, from the main page:

"Contact Us >> Bulk Ordering >> Bulk Order Online" to get to the place that you can order physical forms for the Common Application website.

If there is another way to get them without having to order in 25 packs of forms, I don't know about it.

You can e-mail them here: application_help@commonapp.net

... or use the helpdesk here:

I looked through this, and after reviewing the Common Application website and it's ease of use for filling out college admissions forms en masse... I have to ask: Why in the world would you want to do this on paper when you can do it on-line?

Consider this: When they get your paper form, what are they going to do with it? Put it into the computer, just as if you had filled it out on-line, as best I can tell. So, do you really want some person doing data entry to screw up your college admissions papers for you, and ruin your chances to get into hundreds of universities at once?

Just a thought. :-)
