Trying to be a cheerleader

At my school we have cheerleaders obviously. But last year i didn't make it, so my friend told me that since thre aren't enough cheerleaders theres going to be another try out in January. I really want to make it. So any tips?

practice really hard.
try and show the juges that you are a hardwoker
give all you got
you might definately make it

Practice! :]
Make sure you're ready. Since try outs arent until January, you still have a lot of time to get your act together.
Make sure you're in good shape, and practice projecting your voice.
