i dont know what to call this

Question Posted Friday October 3 2008, 6:11 pm

My ex boyfriend and I were going out for ten months. I moved to a different state before our nine month anniversary, but he came down and stayed with me for august. he went home and after that everything started to become really weird. We started fighting more and we just broke up. But we thought we were going to try and work it out after we had some time to ourselves, he said that he wanted to be with me still and that he wouldnt date anyone else. But then I kept hearing things from other people that he was seen with other girls, and one of my friends said that one of HER friends had been talking with him since school started and they liked eachother. Now, the other day, what happens, he says he wants to see other people and gets a girlfriend. But he's still telling me that he loves me and cares about me and misses me and wants to be friends until we can "work it out and be together". I'm just really confused, I told him that I can't trust him anymore, that it will probably never work out. And I don't get why he's saying that when he's the one who chose to have a new girlfriend. So, if anyone has any advice on what to say to him or how to get over this mess it would be appriciated.

Find a guy where you live. I know that
isn't the answer you are wanting but,
your guy friend is right. You can't go
dates living in two different states.
You don't want to be sitting home and
pecking on the computer while your
friends are out on dates.

If its truly meant to be, you will
try again someday. In the meantime,
you don't want to let time pass you
by. Remain friends, but date others.
No reason not to trust him, he was
honest with you. :)
