Does anyone here take Yasmin? The generic version is Ocella. It is a 28 tablets birth control. I am just wondering if anyone has any information on it from personal experience. In example, side effects, when to get your period and how heavy it will be and how long it will last generally, any problems with it.
I got information online but would like personal experiences.

I had my period for 11 weeks straight. It was awful. When I went back to my doctor and told him he said that the amount of hormones in the pill was incorrect and he said I could switch back to my name brand (I was on that first but it became too expensive) or he could up the amount of hormone in the generic brand. After he upped the generic I became regular within three months. Three months is the usual time it takes for your body to adjust to the steady dose of hormones. Also, I never had any side affects like spotting or throwing up for anything like that. And I got my period as soon as my hormone pills ran out and I took the white non hormone pills. Hope I helped.
