I could type an essay on your question. & Yes, I know enough about cutting. I'm going to send you links, because I don't have an hour to type this because I know a lot about it.

But first off, don't ever tell someone they want or crave attention when they cut, it isn't the truth.

Telling your school counsler will make things worse. They contact your parents, and hell starts all over again, I would recommend you finding someone professinal.
