I want this guy to like me, and he kind of does but not enough to go out with me and I asked him out and he likes one of my friends. What do I do? I still want him to like me but I want to go out with him too but if he just wants to be friends I dont want it to be awkward.

Basically, it is known that high school relationships usually dont last very long, and the fact is you just gotta wait it out. I know some people would hate me for saying this, but Justin Bobby from the hills once said "Truth and Time tells all" which is totally true ! Basically, wait to see how it turns out with your crush and your friend. If they go out, it probably wont last long. If she doesnt like him back, great! You just need to wait it out. and while your waiting, look at all the other fish in the sea, and maybe you'll catch an eye of a cute one. Good luck and i hope i helped! first of all, talk to your friend
and make sure she isnt interested in the same guy
then, continue being good friends with him
if your friend does not like him back, he will soon get over her
then, you two will still be close friends
and you can try again
its either you wait it out, or forget about him
and since you like him i dont think you'd want to
also, maybe try hanging out with him in a group
but not including the friend he likes
or just hang out one on one
